Houston is a pretty low stress city.

They have a large immigrant community (legal and illegal). They generally have less health insurance. They get free healthcare by going to a hospital ER, but do not pay. Frequently, they claim to have no SS #, so they can't even be tracked or have a blck mark on their credit. Of course, they can produce a SS # when it is time for employment.

Parking is ample, and there is plenty of space in Houston. I felt much more stress in NY city or Chicago, where you have to push just to not be trampled.

you have no clue what this job is do you? I am a postal worker i too, had same attitude prior to joining them in the past, there is more behind the scenes than you see in the stree, Get your facts straight, Management is top heavy, like all corporate amearica, They are the ones overpaid, . Problem with US Economy, is that Big companies get major tax breaks, and they have half or more of their biz is overseas, Why should government give corp, tax breaks if they are not reinvesting in the US, Make corporations pay their due and force them to do business here, with a minimal overseas presence. When Will politician who "claim they care about the people the represent, stop taking lobbyist money and looking the other way, and hold all corporations to build and invest here if they going to get tax breaks. What made US prosperous once was all the influx of immigrants with new ideas, that started biz and factories to processs and manufacter products that stirred this economy. current trade aggreements gives Businesses loopholes and they have taken advantage of it to the detriment of the country
